April - 5^th to 19^th – Sydney Royal Easter Show 2012 (http://www.eastershow.com.au/) The NSW Knitters Guild is part of the Sydney Royal Easter Arts and Crafts Feature Display this year. The Fabulous Fibres Display will feature work, demonstrations and information from the Hand Spinners and Weavers Guild, the Machine Knitters Guild, and us.
May - Sunday 27^th – Mamre Harvest Festival, 9:30 – 3:30 at 181 Mamre Rd, Orchard Hills. The Festival is in the grounds of Mamre House and will offer a diverse range of fresh produce, gourmet food, wine, craft stalls, entertainment, food vendors, cafe and lots of fun things to see and do for the whole family.(http://www.mamre.com.au/)
June – 13^th to 17^th – Craft and Quilt Fair, Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour (http://www.craftfair.com.au/Sydney2012/)
July – 20^th to 22^nd – The Australian Sheep Wool Show, Bendigo, Victoria (http://www.sheepshow.com/). Even if you’re not lucky enough to get to the show in person there is a Woolcraft competition, including classes for knitted items from commercial and handspun yarn. Entries close 15^th June, exhibits due 7^th July.
